The KWILLT project aims to:
- Examine the knowledge, beliefs and values of older people regarding keeping warm at home.
- Identify the barriers older people experience that prevents them from accessing help in keeping warm.
- Use study findings to develop ‘keeping warm’ interventions, including education and training materials for health and social care staff, assessment and referral tools and social marketing recommendations.
The KWILLT project uses qualitative methods. Research findings are presented on the findings page of this website. These findings have been used to develop a series of Pen Portraits which are also now available.
